EXTENSIONS AT-HOME CARE
BRUSHING
Brush hair thoroughly multiple times a day. With your free hand keep pressure on the base of your extensions to eliminate unnecessary tension and pulling while you brush.
PRODUCTS
When investing in your new hair, please don’t use products with cheap ingredients. A sulfate/paraben-free shampoo and conditioner are important and will extend the life of your extensions. Use a leave-in conditioner and treat with a deep conditioning mask once a week. Use your stylist's recommended oil or serum through the ends at least once a day on dry hair. A heat protectant is always recommended when using hot tools.
WASHING
Wash as little as possible, we suggest no more than every 4-5 days. Thoroughly cleanse between your rows, and rinse completely. Always blow-dry the tops of the extensions so they don't stay wet.
SLEEPING
Wear your hair in a low ponytail or braid when you are sleeping. Sleep on a satin pillowcase to help avoid tangling. Never sleep on wet extensions.
SUMMERTIME
We do not recommend swimming in a pool, ocean or lake with your extensions. The natural elements in the waters can cause damage to the hair. Simply place your hair in a cute ponytail or in a bun to keep it safe from the water. Never allow your extension hair to come into contact with sunscreen. When in windy conditions, keep hair in a low ponytail or braided to avoid tangling.
